Bursaries

The CMTPI meeting organizers are pleased to be able to offer 7 meeting bursaries to assist younger and early-career researchers to attend CMTPI 2019. The bursaries will cover the early bird registration fee for such scientists, and make a contribution of €300 for covering accommodation expenses (paid the last day of the meeting).

Eligibility criteria

CMTPI bursary applicants should

  • Be submitting an abstract to the meeting as first (senior) author
  • Be a registered PhD student or within 2 years of receiving a PhD
  • Be working as a postdoctoral scientist less than 5 years of receiving a PhD
  • Not belong to the laboratories of the invited speakers and members of the Committees

How to apply

Applications for CMTPI bursaries for the 10th edition of the meeting must be made ASAP to j.devillers@ctis.fr. The deadline for receiving the application forms is 22 February 2019. The following documents have also to be provided:

  • Proof of Status: PhD student or post-doctoral scientist within 5 years of receiving a PhD
  • Curriculum Vitae
  • Letter of Motivation, describing reasons why you would benefit from attending the CMTPI meeting, in not more than 300 words
  • Proof of Age

Assessment and notification

Abstracts submitted will be assessed by the International Organizing Committee; in addition, CVs and letters of motivation will be considered. The outcome of the bursary application will be notified via e-mail by March 8th, 2019.


Taylor & Francis award

The students are encouraged to compete for the election of the best oral or poster presentation!

The winner in each category will have his/her registration fees refunded.

  • It is only possible to compete for only one poster or one talk. It is not possible to compete in each category.
  • The students who compete must stay till the end of the meeting.
  • Students must register for the competition before the meeting by sending an email to j.devillers@ctis.fr.

The competitors are encouraged to submit a manuscript to "SAR and QSAR in Environmental Research" (Taylor & Francis) as part of the proceedings.
